This was taken near the top of Mt. Moses in Sinai.
The harsh noon light made sharp contrast - white highlights and dark shadows. The Nikkor 28 mm f-2.8 AIS lens, Kodachrome 64 and polarizing filter did the rest. Filter is partially to blame for the vignetting. No PS other the slight color correction. Added as a response to  's journal.The journal is good - read all his journals, and watch his work, but always remember - rules are made to be broken. Nothing is absolute. |

A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour
You could get on a camel in the morning and arrive around noon - quite remote, but there are many trails and a monastery on top or around (this is old...).
Sinai is in Egypt, so you can either travel through Eilat or from the Egyptian side.
It is a great location - worth visiting!
