Taken a few years ago during my reserve service. Wherever I went I had an Olympus XA in my pocket (35mm f-2.8 Zuicko lens, manual range-finder focusing, aperture control with shutter speed reading. made 1984). The film I used was Fuji Neopan 400, developed in D-76. Printed on Glossy paper, with the smoke and fireball burned in, to achieve some detail. Full frame print on AGFA Brovira paper. PS: brightness/contrast to match print.
Light and exposure: The camera can wait 8" or until it receives enough light. I placed it on a stone and tripped the shutter. A full moon provided little fill light, and the shot itself the rest... Very lucky!
Entered in 's Night shot contest (won nothing...).
Entered in B&W photography contest (deadline July 20th).
Entered in 's September speed contest (now voting)
Enjoy!

"Eh, you see son," *pull cigar out of mouth* "One night stands are one thing. One night shots...something else completely." *cough* "Don't take any of them lightly."
